FAQs and Care Instructions

Q: “Can I wash my bonnet?”

A: Yes! All bonnets can be washed by hand or machine washed on gentle, cool settings with like fabrics. To dry, tumble on a low, warm-cool setting, or hang to air dry.

Q: “What's the difference between satin and silk?”

A: Both satin and silk protect the hair from friction and breakage. Silk is a natural fiber that offers maximum moisture retention, longevity and sustained quality over time. In contrast, satin is a synthetic fiber that serves as a great, more affordable alternative to silk with similar properties.

Q: “Can the bonnets hold all of my hair?”

A: All bonnets have been designed intentionally to hold all of your styles. Whether you’re rocking braids, locs, a twist out, or a fro - your Bon Don bonnet has been tested and is guaranteed to comfortably hold it all!

Q: “Where do you get The Bon Don products from?”

A: We love getting this question! All products have been designed in-house by Black Women with a focus on holding all hairstyles comfortably, staying on all night, retaining moisture, promoting hair growth, protecting your edges, being aesthetically pleasing, and promoting overall healthy hair. We guarantee you won’t find any other products like ours anywhere else!

Q: “What’s the difference between The Head Scarf and The Edge Scarf?”

A: The Head Scarf is a full sized, silk, square scarf designed to cover the entire head. These are more often times used to preserve wrap styles, braids, etc. overnight. The Edge Scarf is a narrow, rectangle, satin scarf designed specifically to cover and protect the edges. These are more often times used to lay edges after edge control application for a sleek look, or to simply protect the edges while exercising or doing skin care.
